Well, it's been about a year since my last post. Don't worry, I haven't been slacking off too much in the year I've been absent from this blog. My laziness has a Master's Degree to show for it.
In related news, I've decided to stay here for a while longer and get a PhD. I've developed some research interests in my last semester here that I'd like to pursue further. Besides, all the jobs I could find were doing uninteresting things in uninteresting places, so I figured I've prefer doing something interesting in an uninteresting place, at least. Four to six more years in a nothing-amazing town. With the people in my department, though, it doesn't seem so bad. We'll see.
On unrelated news, I'm considering re-purposing this blog as a more general writing-nerd-otaku space. I may even upload some geeky web comics from yours truly. Expect updates about writing, computers, science, anime, and everything nerdy and bookish. Hopefully. If I feel like it.
Speaking of which, I really need to start writing again...
